Coronary Angiogram is invasive procedure done in Cathlab by Interventional Cardiologist. This test is done to see for presence of blocks in Coronary (Heart) arteries & ascertain its location & severity.
A small tube is inserted at Wrist or groin artery under Local anaesthesia & advanced to heart arteries. Once in position, a special chemical dye is injected & simultaneously X-Ray photograph of arteries are obtained. These pictures are analysed for presence of Blocks.
