Dr.Rajesh Bhat U completed basic education at Bhatkal, Mysore and Udupi. Later he obtained MBBS degree from Adichunchangiri Inst Of medical Sciences, Bellur (Mysore University) and MD (Gen. Med.) from KMC Mangalore (Manipal University).
Dr.Rajesh Bhat U was successful Physician at Bhatkal between 1998-2004. Later he joined prestigious Narayana Hrudayalaya Bangalore, for advanced training in Cardiology, i.e., DNB (Cardiology). During this period he worked as Resident Interventional Cardiologist at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore for 5 yrs. Later he worked as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at K.S.Hegde Hospital for 4 years. At present he works as Associate Professor and Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at prestigious KMC Hospital, Dr.Ambedkar (Jyothi) Circle, and Mangalore.
Dr.Rajesh Bhat U has performed more than 7000 angiograms. He is well trained in PTCA (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention), and performed about 3000 of them, including PAMI (Primary Angioplasty), majority of them being radial route. Dr.Rajesh has been performing Non coronary interventions such as BMV/PTMC, Pacemaker insertions etc. with excellent results. Being trained in Narayana Hrudayalaya, which is known for pediatric cardiology work Dr. Rajesh, is well versed in pediatric Echo (Including Neonatal) and Interventions (ASD / PDA closure.)
Dr.Rajesh Bhat was involved in major international studies (OASIS-6; TRUST; APOLLO; SPIRE..etc) as a student and as consultant.
